Whether you’re from the great land Downunder or not, Happy Australia Day, 26 January, 2009. I’m on the other side of the World and won’t be able to enjoy a public holiday like the rest of the citizens of our fair country, but that doesn’t mean I won’t have a Crownie in celebration.
It’s only fitting today to show some basketball footage of probably the greatest, most successful duo in Australian club basketball history: Andrew Gaze and Lanard Copeland of the Melbourne Tigers. Philadelphia 76ers fans from way back may remember Copes from his brief time there and Seton Hall fans may remember the Gaze Factor from his very successful stint there before he returned to his illustrious Aussie career. Either way, enjoy the alley-oops and Happy Australia Day from me!
