As you know by now, it’s Free Agent season (aka The Summer of LeBron).
Jason Simms is a Portland-based singer-songwriter. He has just recorded this brilliant folk-epic which imagines LeBron James as the King of a humble realm, not unlike Cleveland, and posits why he should indeed stay there. (All this despite Jason being a Blazers fan!).
If you enjoyed this and you live in the Portland-area, you should head to Berbati’s Pan in downtown Portland on August 4 and check out Jason playing it live. You can also check out more of his music via his facebook page or his blog.
