To start out your NBA week, here are some links…
- Ball Don’t Lie (Yahoo! Sports): The big news of the moment is that JE Skeets will be departing to Ball Don’t Lie. But don’t start crying just yet… this is great news on a number of fronts. Firstly, Kelly Dwyer will still be at BDL, doing the awesome job he does watching every minute of basketball ever played. Secondly, Trey Kerby, who you’ve no doubt known from The Blowtorch and his radical work at BDL will be full-blown taking over Skeets’ role. Thirdly, and not at all least, a huge congratulations to The Basketball Jones crew, including Skeets, Tas Melas, Jason Doyle and Matt Osten (the intern). They will be joining the Score (that Canadian institution) to do TBJ FULL TIME. Congratulations to them on making four years of hard work turn into a full time gig like that. I’m really excited about how great The Basketball Jones will be as a result of this. You guys are rad.
