todays warnings 2009 v5

There are more basketball-related stories to look at today than Oliver Miller can fit on a plate at the buffet line:

  • The Hoop Doctors: Following on from our recent article on reconstructing the Suns, the Hoop Doctors suggest that trading Amar’e to the Spurs could be a potential move.
  • The Baseline (SN): The Monday Morning Shootaround focuses on ‘allas — yep, no D there.
  • Stepien Rules: An interesting interview with Anthony Parker of the Cavs, as Brendan talks to him about his experiences overseas and getting to the NBA. A big pat on the back to Brendan for being another blogger to get the media credentials to get into a locker room. On that topic, I love this video of how young Parker looked when he was drafted.
  • Bloguin: The NBA Power Rankings for January, of which I am a voting member, are up!
  • TWolves Blog: College Wolf opens the mail bag.
  • Ball Don’t Lie: Kobe’s huge game-winner against the Celtics and Durantula jumping to No. 2 in scoring.
  • Buzz Mgr: Want to find out more about the Bloguin network and our CEO Ben Koo? Well, read this interview. If you’re still keen on joining after seeing what Ben is like, have a chat to me.
  • Talk Hoops: In case you haven’t already listened to it, Zach Harper and the guys talk about Greg Oden and the potential cause of his injuries (I should warn, as always, the Weekly Fix Podcast is a mature-age experience).
  • Knicks Fanatics: Talking Knicks and T-Wolves.
  • Zoner Sports: Guys in the NBA that are having tough years.
  • Truehoop: The Nuggets don’t have Melo and still they’re rolling. Why? It’s all about Mr Big Shot Billups. As I’ve been saying for years, this guy should be a perennial MVP candidate. He makes that Nuggets team go.

Do you need more reasons to watch the NBA D-League? More than the subliminal tips I’ve been dropping here and on twitter for weeks? Well, check out this game between the LA D-Fenders and RGV Vipers.
