Kevin Brooks and Brett Maher at Inside the Game TV run the best Australian basketball show out there. They do it on a weekly basis, both streaming live and downloadable as a videocast immediately thereafter. If you’re from outside of Australia, you need to know that Maher is a former Australian Olympian, whilst KB has been a star in the NBL, as well as playing three seasons with the Denver Nuggets from 1991-94.
KB, aka the Downunder Brother, aka the Brown Hornet, aka many other things, was good enough to reach out to me and invite me onto the show for their new NBA Junkies segment. So every second week I’ll be part of an awesome crew of NBA Junkies presenting the news on our respective NBA Divisions of choice. Of course, my area of interest lies in the NorthWest where the much-maligned Portland Trail Blazers are toiling away (as well as the Denver Nuggets, Oklahoma City Thunder, Utah Jazz and Minnesota Timberwolves).
