Following twitter, there are rumours flying everywhere just before the NBA trade deadline.
Larry Hughes will reportedly arrive with the New York Knicks, with Tim Thomas and Jerome James heading to the Chicago Bulls.
Shelden Williams and Bobby Brown have been traded by the Sacramento Kings to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Rashad McCants and Calvin Booth.
The Portland Trail Blazers are reportedly sitting still. Earlier rumours of Vince Carter coming to Portland — along with other speculation over Richard Jefferson and Gerald Wallace — seems to be stagnating.
The big one of the day has been talk of Shaquille O’Neal being dealt to the Cleveland Cavaliers, to move out of Steve Nash’s way and become LeBron’s wingman on the way to a title. The potential deal being discussed involved Ben Wallace and Sasha Pavlovic. However talk has died down apparently, with the Cavs not willing to substitute Wallace for Wally Szcerzbiak’s corpse/contract.
No doubt there will be more news in the next couple of hours.
