From my perspective, signing Marquis Daniels was exactly the type of move the Boston Celtics needed to make to round out their roster. He is the perfect energy guy at the right stage of his career to contribute to this Celtics team pushing for a title. He has served his time, having played three seasons in both Indiana and Dallas. In 2008-09 he averaged 13.1ppg and 4.6rpg for the Pacers in 31.5mpg. Those numbers will drop in Boston, but he will be expected to be a spark off the bench behind Ray Allen and Paul Pierce.
