One of my great passions, outside of basketball is design. Graphic design, product design, even interior design — you name it. So this video left me absolutely gob-smacked.
The world of traditional media is changing. Change or die seems to be the playing field these days. The emergence of new media means that newspapers and magazines are dropping off by the week. However, perhaps this need not be the case — perhaps all that is needed is a change in philosophy.
You may be looking at the future of magazines. Digital, but more than this — interactive and visually spectacular. And interactive. Watch this video and tell me that this form of reading your Slam/Dime/Hoop magazine would not appeal to you more than looking at the same information over the internet. I dare you.
