The Milwaukee Bucks have reportedly just signed Drew Gooden to a 5-year, $32m deal, bringing a sea of derision and laughter from the NBA pundits across twitter. On the contrary, I think that Gooden’s signing by the Bucks is just what the team needed — a no-frills power forward to complement Andrew Bogut down low and to contrast with the high-volume offence of the likes of Corey Maggette and Brandon Jennings.
More than this, however, the addition of Gooden to the Fear The Dear squad brings together one of the greatest hair ensembles in NBA history. Can you imagine if Gooden and Bogut brought back this look, in tandem??
