New Zealand Breakers 95 – 75 Cairns Taipans
The 2009/10 National Basketball League season tipped off with a thud, as the Breakers smashed the Taipans over the ditch in New Zealand. The Kiwi squad continued their ridiculous three-point shooting from last season, whilst former Breaker, now Taipans captain Phill Jones showed how valuable he will be as a leader for his new team.
