Bogut dunkOn the NBA’s biggest stage, Madison Square Garden, Andrew Bogut pulled out a career night against the New York Knicks. He led the Milwaukee Bucks to an 83-67 victory, scoring 24 points (12/15) to go along with 20 rebounds and 5 blocks (including an erasure of Sergio Rodriguez, which you will see below in the match highlights).

It was a rude invasion by the Bucks, as the Knicks were attempting to celebrate Legends Night (honouring the 1969-70 Champion Knicks), with the likes of Willis Reed courtside. There wasn’t too much legendary action on-court for the Knicks, as Tracy McGrady put up 5/14 on his way to a team-high 15 points, whilst the next best performances came from David Lee (12 points, 13 rebounds) and Rodriguez (4 points, 8 steals, 1 assist).

John Salmons has settled in handily for the Bucks, this time contributing 15 points as the starting shooting guard. Bogut’s performance carried a Bucks team that saw 1/9 shooting from Brandon Jennings, 3/13 from Carlos Delfino and 3/10 from Luke Ridnour. Perhaps Bogut had a little extra fire as he staked his claim to some All-Star consideration over the likes of Lee. He certainly deserves a more serious look next year.
