The Portland Trail Blazers had their second straight major loss to the Phoenix Suns, falling to 1-2 in their first round playoff series tonight. With the deficit drawing into the 20s for most of the game and the final result being 108-89, another opportunity was provided to Patty Mills for playoff experience.

Unlike Game Two of the series where he saw extended time in the fourth, a late push which almost cut the deficit to single-digits meant that Mills only saw 2:22 of action. The only statistic he managed to produce in that short period of garbage time was one foul, as most of the time was eeked out by the Suns dribbling out the clock.

Game Four will again be played in Portland with the Blazers looking to even the series, using up the buffer they created by winning Game One in Phoenix. The availability of Brandon Roy and Nicolas Batum for that next game is still uncertain. Either way, something will need to be done about the poor start the team got out to, as well as cooling off the hot play of Jason Richardson (42 points including 8 three-pointers).
