For a player that was as good a scorer as Patrick Ewing was during his career, it is somehow surprising that his career-high was only 51 points. Cracking 50 is big in anyone’s language, but I guess that number just surprised me in retrospect, given the amazing career Tyrannosaurus Pat had. Regardless, Ewing had his career high on 24 March, 1990 against Robert Parish and the Boston Celtics. Along with 51 points (20/29 FG), he grabbed 18 rebounds.
