What a finish it was for the Boston Celtics in their Game Four playoff victory over the Orlando Magic. And what an unexpected hero in Glen “Big Baby” Davis!
It was as if a Mothers’ Day dream to have a Big Baby seal the victory with a mid-range jumper on the wing, as Paul Pierce passed out of a double-team. The young power forward, replacing Kevin Garnett in the lineup, finished with 21 points and one fine shove on an Orlando Magic towel-boy/fan (as the great animation above shows). Oh the injustice of not only seeing victory snatched from your team’s clutches on your home court, but then to be crushed by the sweaty game winner immediately after the shot! It was almost Craig Ehlo-esque.

So now the Celtics have re-seized the homecourt advantage they had lost and head back to Boston with the series tied at 2-2. We have a series on our hands. Read what CelticsBlog has to say on the victory.
